Originally from Taranaki, I began vet nursing in 1987 after my OE and have worked at The Vets since 2003.
I live locally and one of my joys is meeting owners and their dogs out walking; the dogs always recognise me, often before I have spotted them!
My partner and I have one rescue cat, who typically dominates our wee flat.
Outside of work I love walking and, when conditions allow, travel to visit family, friends, and places new. I am always keen for a new experience, my latest being walking with, feeding, and touching wild stingrays near Gisborne!
