I have been a veterinarian for 30 years and worked mostly in London or Auckland.
I live in an apartment in a converted flour mill in central Auckland.
I have a very shy rescue cat called Moth who only has three legs. Moth was a badly beaten SPCA cat. I had to amputated one of her hindlegs as it was in so many pieces and she came home to recover and learn to walk again and she never went back to the SPCA.
Moth is named after a fairy in Shakespeare’s Mid Summer Nights Dream. The other fairies are Cobweb, Mustardseed and Peaseblossum, so I have 3 more cats names ready!
Outside of work I love books, film – addicted to Auckland film festival every year, theatre, travel and obviously Shakespeare!
